In an interview with The Breakfast Club, O'Day and fellow DK alum Shannon Bex -- who now perform together as the duo Dumblonde -- revealed the tension spans years. The insider tells, “I heard the girls yelling at each other, and Aubrey called Dawn a slut.” Our tipster continued, “then all hell broke loose and there was a big commotion …
I’m not sure what happened but I was frightened.” Since Danity Kane was formed, rumors of an inappropriate relationship between Diddy and Aubrey have been rampant.
According to the insider, “Dawn and [Diddy] have been spending a lot of time together recently – and its supposedly work related.” Our source continued, “Aubrey has been [Diddy's] favorite, so she’s upset about Dawn getting the extra attention.” Our source claims that during a recent rehearsal, Aubrey confronted Dawn about her “close” relationship with Diddy – and it turned violent.

"She told us it was her boyfriend that had done it the whole time." "When we came back together [in 2014], we had hoped that a lot of the things in the past had changed, and they hadn't," Aubrey continued.
I wanted our group to work and sometimes you have to put business in front of your feelings." Aubrey told D. "There was another case of manipulation and lying and pushing solo projects over the group," O'Day said, revealing what set off the fight last year.
On Tuesday night's live season-three finale of "Making the Band 4," Diddy confirmed the rumors that Aubrey O'Day is no longer in Danity Kane. Woods, leaving only Aundrea Fimbres, Dawn Richard and Shannon Bex in the group he so carefully put together before our eyes four years ago.
